Cinnabon is partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to release two limited-time menu items inspired by the Harry Potter franchise's Butterbeer flavor, according to a press release..
The Atlanta-based company, a brand underGoTo Foods, will offer a Butterbeer-flavored Classic Roll and a Butterbeer-flavored Chillatta from May 4 through May 17. The items will be available in themed packaging at participating Cinnabon and Schlotzsky's Deli locations.
"We are thrilled to be the first US restaurant brand to join Butterbeer Season and bring a touch of wizarding world magic to our bakeries," Urvi Patel, chief brand officer at Cinnabon, said in the press release. "By pairing our signature cinnamon rolls with the nostalgic flavors of Butterbeer, we're giving fans a completely new way to experience the iconic flavor."
The company is offering several promotions through its mobile app. The first 934 rewards members to enter the code "Platform934" starting May 4 will receive an offer for $2 off a Butterbeer roll.
Cinnabon is also conducting a sweepstakes for loyalty members who sign up through a specific landing page during the two-week window. Prizes include 50 themed shirts and 10 vouchers for free cinnamon rolls for one year. Winners will be selected May 18.
Cinnabon has more than 2,400 locations across 65 countries and territories.
