CKE employs geoVue location optimization software solution

WOBURN, Mass. — CKE Restaurants Inc. has partnered with location optimization software provider,geoVue, to employ geoVue's software solutions to help CKE enhance investments in existing stores and expand its chain.
 
CKE operates theCarl's Jr.,Hardee's,La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill,Green Burritoand Red Burrito restaurant brands, and includes more than 3,000 locations in 43 states and in 13 countries.
 
The company recently licensed geoVue's solutions to help prioritize the existing stores it should invest additional capital as well as the number, type and location of new stores it should build.
 
"We were impressed both with geoVue's highly experienced analysts and its superior software," said Rich Buxton, executive vice president of real estate development for CKE. "geoVue will help us prioritize new markets, determine how to lay out franchise territories in each of them, prioritize our remodeling program for existing stores and ultimately give us a rapid return on our investment."
 
geoVue develops predictive store trade areas that allow clients to decide which markets to enter, expand or exit; how they should optimize store networks within each market; and how to localize marketing and merchandising.
