CKE Restaurants deploys QSR Automations Kitchen Display Solution

CKE Restaurants Inc., parent company of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, has chosen QSR Automations as its preferred kitchen display technology provider.

QSR Automations provides ConnectSmart in-store, online and mobile connected solutions for the restaurant industry.

With the partnership, CKE is recommending the QSR kitchen display solution to its franchisees and licensees of all brands within the U.S. and internationally.

Already in use within all 468 company-operated Hardee's restaurants as well as hundreds of franchised Hardee's and Carl's Jr. restaurants located in the U.S., Mexico and China, CKE is now making it easier for franchisees to implement the QSR kitchen display solution. Franchisees with a CKE corporate support agreement now have an option to source the QSR solution through the CKE purchasing cooperatives.

"QSR's kitchen display solution ensures our restaurants can effectively manage the kitchen, producing quality products in a speedy fashion. Most importantly, with such advanced features as summary capabilities and alerts, the solution allows our team members to focus, and the system is designed for the highest reliability."

CKE's selected QSR solution includes the ePic Kitchen Display Software (ePic KDS) along with xCeed kitchen controllers, durable keypads, bracketing, and the ConnectSmart ControlPoint hardware management tool.

QSR Automations' kitchen display hardware is built specifically for the harshest and hottest kitchens. Its ControlPoint software tool enables quick configuration, advanced real-time diagnostics, and the ability to perform updates for the hardware while creating a plug-and-play environment that simplifies implementation and ongoing support. QSR Automations also provides customized staging services for CKE's restaurants.
