Culver's has launched a new "Welcome to Delicious" integrated marketing campaign this week, featuring its signature Fresh Frozen Custard Flavors of the Day, from caramel cashew to Chocolate Oreo Volcano.
The new TV spot spotlights the Culvers' Fresh Frozen Custard options, made with Wisconsin dairy.
"People are amazed at how rich and luscious Fresh Frozen Custard is compared to ice cream," said Craig Culver, co-founder and CEO of Culver's. "When people think of Culver's, they think of Flavor of the Day. We've offered it from the start."
As in the previous "Welcome to Delicious" TV spots, Culver is joined by a supplier partner to share Culver's commitment to high quality ingredients. In addition to TV, the Flavor of the Day is carried across all Culver's marketing touchpoints, including radio and print advertising, in-restaurant point of purchase signage, digital and social media.
To celebrate Culver's more than 80 flavors, the chain is launching the Dessert'd Island Sweepstakes featuring the grand prize of a trip for four to Captiva Island, Fla. Guests who order a Fresh Frozen Custard Flavor of the Day will receive a ticket with a unique promotion code. They can enter the code on Culvers' Facebook page for a chance to win a seven-night trip for four to Captiva Island. The sweepstakes is open while game pieces last or until June 29.
Culver's offers an Android and iPhone app with a five-day flavor forecast. Guests with the app can opt to receive alerts when their favorite flavors are being offered nearby. The app can be downloaded at culvers.com.
Culver's Fresh Frozen Custard is made with Wisconsin dairy supplied by more than 100 family farms in the state. There are more than 80 Flavors of the Day, and they vary by restaurant location and rotate daily.
"Each Fresh Frozen Custard Flavor of the Day is crafted for maximum craveability with a combination of gooey toppings, bits of candy, real fruit, or chunks of cookie or brownie," Culver said.
