Del Taco 'socks it to' diners with mixable value menu

Del Taco is helping all those holiday-depleted wallets out there this year with a new value menu and the possibility of a new Mexican entrée-adorned socks to boot. The Mix2 Menu allows guests to mix two select menu items for just $4 and $5 at participating locations, a news release said.

For $4, guests can pick two of the following: 

• Chicken Flatbread Taco.
• Chicken Street Taco.
• Beer Battered Fish Taco.
• Cheese Quesadilla.

For $5, guests can choose two of these burritos:

• Del Combo Burrito.
• Del Beef Burrito.
• Classic Grilled Chicken Burrito.
• Spicy Grilled Chicken Burrito.
• 8 Layer Veggie Burrito.

The chain is promoting the Mix2 Menu by offering a limited supply of mismatched socks, with each sock design featuring one of the nine menu items, beginning Jan. 14. Guests who post Mix2 Menu order photos on Instagram or Twitter, with the @DelTaco tag, are eligible to get two socks to match their orders.
