Dunkin' is kicking off Halloween season with a new lineup of limited-time beverages featuring Green Apple Dunkin' Zero and Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam, the company announced in a news release.
Available nationwide beginning Sept. 30, the menu expands two of the brand's beverage platforms with seasonal flavors and combinations. Green Apple Dunkin' Zero, a Halloween spin on the chain's zero-sugar energy drink, features tart green apple flavor and sparkling water, and serves as the base for several new drinks.
The lineup includes Midnight Apple Dunkin' Zero, which adds blackberry flavor; Candy Kiss Dunkin' Zero, featuring mango; and Orchard Twist Dunkin' Zero, which combines green apple and peach.
Dunkin' is also introducing Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam, a Halloween-inspired version of its Marshmallow Cold Foam. The purple topping appears across several new beverages, including the Sour Apple Energy, which combines Green Apple Dunkin' Zero with sour lemonade; the berry-forward Dark Spell Daydream Refresher; and the Terror-misu Cloud Latte, an iced espresso beverage featuring tiramisu flavors, Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam and hot chocolate powder.
Other creations include Franki Matcha, a Frankenstein-inspired matcha drink topped with the purple foam, and the Creepy Crawler Coffee Chiller, a frozen coffee featuring tiramisu flavors, Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam, whipped cream and mocha drizzle. According to Dunkin', the launch marks the first time customers can order a Dunkin' Zero beverage topped with cold foam.
"This year, we're taking two fan-favorite platforms into entirely new territory," Anthony Epter, vice president of menu innovation at Dunkin', said in a company press release. "From the tart, crisp flavor of Green Apple Dunkin' Zero to the spooky twist of Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam, we're giving guests new ways to experience Dunkin'."
The Halloween menu also includes three additional seasonal beverages: the Midnight Potion Refresher, featuring berry clementine and blueberry flavors with green tea; Werewolf Punch Refresher, combining blackberry, clementine, mango and pineapple flavors with lemonade; and Nutty Nightmare Iced Coffee, which pairs Dunkin' Iced Coffee and cream with tiramisu and toasted almond flavors.
The seasonal launch is only the beginning of Dunkin's Halloween plans as the company plans to reveal another clue in its Halloween campaign in Salem, Massachusetts, Oct. 8, while the brand also has teased the possible return of a "familiar eight-legged friend" on social media.
