McAlister's Deli recently took on the challenge of displaying nutritional info in its restaurants even though the government recently pushed back the deadline for chains to become compliant to the end of the year. Making the deadline wasn't the chain's main inspiration, said Jessica Osborne, senior brand marketing manager of McAlister's Deli. It was the customers who expect to know what's in their food. That is why McAlister's deployed digital menu boards to display the info.
