Good Times plans new social media strategy

Colorado-based Good Times Restaurants Inc. has selected Room 214 as its social media agency to develop a social media and digital platform for the company.

Room 214 provides social media and digital marketing solutions for brands such as the Travel Channel, Qwest and Mr. Coffee. Services include research, strategy and execution on all aspects of digital marketing campaigns.

The Boulder-based agency consists of a 30-member team with in-house expertise to fulfill all requirements pertaining to online customer engagement strategies, digital advertising, creative design, video production, blog and mobile site development, marketing dashboard and custom Facebook applications.

"After interviewing several agencies that specialize in social media, we selected Room 214 for their strategic approach combined with creative applications, deep analytics and passion for the brands they represent. We are excited to work with their team to develop a long-term platform that enables Good Times to interact with our customers and engage with our true brand loyalists and advocates using the framework that they are the most comfortable with, whether that's Facebook, Twitter, other on-line applications or mobile," said Boyd Hoback, president and CEO of Good Times.

Sukle Advertising will continue to work with the company on all other brand communications and Room 214 will develop new online content and curating work developed by Sukle for digital applications.

Good Times also announced that it is finalizing its test of a new loyalty program that will be integrated with its social media marketing platform.

"Today's consumer expects to be able to manage their participation with a brand as they so choose and our desire is to give them multiple ways to do that and reward them based on those choices," Hoback said. "Combining our social media platform with a strong loyalty platform will give us the flexibility to do that in the most creative and meaningful way as possible."

Good Times currently operates and franchises 43 restaurants primarily in the Colorado market.
