Irv's Burgers is partnering with filmmaker Eli Roth for a limited-time promotional collaboration ahead of the theatrical release of his upcoming horror movie, "Ice Cream Man," according to a press release.

The partnership will launch July 18 with an "I-SCREAM Carnival" at the Irv's Burgers La Brea location. The event will feature themed food, giveaways, photo opportunities and a special appearance by Roth.

From the launch date through Aug. 9, all Irv's locations will offer a themed combo meal and limited-edition merchandise, including custom hats and free mini posters while supplies last. The movie itself is scheduled to debut on more than 2,000 screens on Aug. 7, 2026.

The film follows an idyllic summer town that descends into madness when an ice cream man serves children treats with horrifying consequences. It marks the first film released under Roth's new media company, The Horror Section, which he launched in March 2025 alongside CEO Jon Schnaars.

"I've been a horror movie fan for as long as I can remember, so when Eli Roth's team approached us about collaborating on Ice Cream Man, it was an easy yes," Lawrence Longo, CEO of Irv's Burgers, said in the press release. "I've always admired Eli's ability to create unforgettable experiences, and that's exactly what we strive to do at Irv's. It's a fun, unexpected summer collaboration that brings together great food, great storytelling and an experience our guests won't forget."

Founded in 1946 along historic Route 66 in West Hollywood, California, Irv's Burgers is one of Los Angeles' original roadside burger stands.
