Oracle Hospitality unveils new POS and hospitality platform

Oracle Hospitality announced an upgraded release of Oracle Hospitality Simphony Cloud Service in a company press report. The new Oracle Hospitality POS and hospitality management platform supports mobile devices, streamlines table service operations and increases mobility for on-site managers.

"Our flagship point-of-sale system is unique in that it is the first enterprise hospitality management solution spanning multiple continents that is designed specifically for the cloud," Jay Upchurch, VP of product strategy for Oracle's hospitality group, said in the report. "Since it was built for the cloud, Oracle Hospitality Simphony Cloud Service delivers 'always-on' technology capable of supporting the best possible guest experience while maximizing data security and value for IT investment."
