Panda Express uses popular LTO to usher in new app

Panda Express is bringing back a fall favorite, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast, for a limited time and using the opportunity to launch the chain's new app, a news release said. 

The LTO, for the first time, is now made with organic honey as part of the sweet sesame sauce that accompanies the chicken breast strip, string bean and bell pepper concoction. 

Since the chain debuted the dish five years ago, it has brought the dish back every fall to a devoted fan base.  "As one of our most popular limited time offers, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast brings families together at the table — an important moment in life that we hope all of our guests have more time to enjoy with their loved ones," Panda Express Director of Culinary Innovation Chef Jimmy Wang said in the release. 

As for the app upgrade, its main features include an interactive step-by-step ordering process, group orders, a catering function, access to past orders, a nutrition calculator and a location-finder. Both the LTO and the app are available now for more than 2,000 locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, Guatemala, Canada, Mexico, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Korea and Japan.
