Red Book Connect names CEO

Red Book Connect, a global service-driven technology solutions company serving the restaurant industry, has appointed Larry A. Abramson as its chief executive officer, a previously unfilled position since the formation of the company in January 2013.

Abramson, 44, was formerly a senior vice president and general manager at Oracle Advanced Customer Services, where he led the business to $1 billion in revenues. He has also held senior leadership positions with USinternetworking and Appshop, as well as Arthur Andersen, where he joined the U.S. Partnership in 1998 and the Worldwide Partnership in 2000. In 2004, he was named 'Entrepreneur of the Year' by El Dorado Ventures for his work as Appshop's CEO.

"We have undergone significant growth with key wins over the last quarter, including Pei Wei, Fox and Hound, Champps Americana, and On The Border, and we are confident (Abramson’s) leadership will further accelerate the company’s expansion in the coming year," said John Chidsey, executive chairman of Red Book Connect.
