Subway has debuted its first value menu, offering 15 entrees priced under $5 at more than 18,000 participating U.S. locations, according to a press release.
The Fresh Value Menu includes three primary categories: Deli Faves, Protein Pockets and the Sub of the Day. The Deli Faves line features four six-inch sandwiches for $3.99, including the BLT, Cold Cut Combo and new Spicy Pepperoni and Ham and Salami options.
The menu also incorporates Protein Pockets, which are tortilla wraps containing more than 20 grams of protein, for $3.99. Additionally, the chain is offering a rotating Sub of the Day for $4.99, with a meal deal available for an additional $2.

"Your wallet and stomach deserve freshly-baked bread, real protein and the perfect combination of sauces and hand-chopped veggies — all for under $5."
The company noted that prices may be higher in Washington, California, Alaska and Hawaii. The value pricing is not applicable to delivery orders placed through third-party apps and cannot be combined with other promotional offers.
Subway has more than 35,000 restaurants.
