Subway offers $5 Footlongs for February

Subway restaurants is offering any regular Footlong for $5 throughout the month, as part of its "Februany" promotion.

The offer is good at participating restaurants through Feb. 29.

The chain is also showing its "Footlong Nation Appreciation," offering fans the chance to win a free lifetime supply of Footlong subs. Codes that are available on specially marked 30-ounce fountain drinks and specially marked bags of Doritos Nacho Cheese flavor chips can be entered online for the chance to win.

Other prizes, including free cookies and chips, will also be given away daily.

Subway's 9 million-plus Facebook fans were provided with a free code to enter the contest.

The "Wiching Hour"

Select Subway markets are also promoting a new "Wiching Hour" promotion, with a variety of 6-inch sandwiches available for $2.50 every day from 3 to 5 p.m.
