White Castle adds 12 fans to Hall of Fame

October 21, 2013

Twelve of White Castle's most loyal fans have been selected to be part of the brand's Cravers Hall of Fame. The applicants submitted stories about their love of White Castle, and were selected by a group of judges to be included.

Stories were evaluated based on brand loyalty, creative presentation, originality and magnitude of "the Crave," according to a news release. From 675 entries, 10 stories (including two duos) were chosen.

"The Craver Nation never ceases to amaze us with their incredible and memorable stories," said Jamie Richardson, vice president. "We're excited to celebrate the dedication of our loyal fans with the Cravers Hall of Fame inductions."

Since the launch of Cravers Hall of Fame in 2001, 147 inductees have been honored. The class of 2013 inductees includes:

John Engen, Anoka, Minn.; Steve Klein, Ledgewood, N.J.; Darrin Vindiola (father) and Darrin Vindiola (son), Evans, Colo.; Kevin Downey, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Ned O'Malia, Albuquerque, N.M.; Barry Cash, Somers, N.Y.; Paul Johnson, Taft, Tenn.; Jeff Maurer, Wilmington, Ill.; Alice and Samuel Marks, Port Aransas, Texas; and Lucretia Henard, High Point, N.C.
