White Castle hosting Breakfast with Santa

More than 370 participating White Castle locations are hosting Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 17. This is the first year for the event.

Up to four children, 12 and younger, eat free with each adult who makes a purchase.

The children's menu includes:

• A small four-piece French Toast Sticks and small hash rounds with juice or milk
• One breakfast Slider on a bun and small hash rounds with juice or milk

No reservations are required. Customers must bring their own camera to take photos with Santa Claus.

"We want to share the celebration of this holiday season with our Cravers and their families by inviting them to White Castle to meet Santa Claus," said Jamie Richardson, vice president of corporate relations at White Castle. "Our Breakfast with Santa event is a way for us to say 'Merry Christmas' to our loyal, family customers."

Also this holiday season, participating restaurants are hosting a castle decorating contest and creating a throne for Santa to sit on. White Castle team members choose the best decorated restaurants before Christmas and semi-finalist pictures are posted on the brand's Facebook page.

Fans can view the pictures and comment on their choice for the best decorated castle. All comments must be posted by 11:59 p.m. Dec. 29. After the votes are tallied, White Castle will announce the winning restaurant on its website and Facebook page. Each team member from the winning castle receives a $50 gift card.
