KFC rewarding fans of NFL's losing teams

KFC has launched a new promotion for fans of NFL teams that do not make it to the Super Bowl in February.

The Twitter campaign kicked off Tuesday and runs through Jan. 20.

To enter, fans of losing teams who follow KFC on Twitter (@kfc_colonel) need to send a photo with the hashtag #KFCWingman that represents the way their season went "afowl," whether it was because of a fumble, a bad call, a failed kick or some other reason.

The first 3,000 followers to participate will earn an order of KFC's sauceless hot wings (in the form of a $5 gift check) to spice up their game-watching parties.

Additionally, KFC's Hot Wings will be available for 50 cents apiece for a limited time.
