Layne's Chicken Fingers is continuing its nationwide expansion with new restaurants opening Oct. 24 in Midland, Texas, and Henrico, Virginia, the company has announced in a press release.

In Midland, franchisee Eli Cohen, founder of C5 Restaurants, is building on a 55-unit development agreement signed in late 2025 to bring the chicken finger brand to Texas and Arkansas. The opening marks Cohen's third Texas restaurant this year and comes one week before the debut of Layne's first San Antonio location.

"We're building exciting momentum across Texas, and every new opening gives us an opportunity to introduce more people to the brand," Cohen said in the release.

In Henrico, franchisee Khurram Burney is opening his second restaurant in the Richmond area as he works to expand the brand across Virginia. Both locations will celebrate with promotions offering the first 50 dine-in guests free Layne's for a year. Midland's grand opening also will include a donation of a portion of sales to Midland Senior High School.
